Log in Using SAML

MasteryConnect supports Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) for single sign-on. To get started, we'll need the following information:

  • Your metadata (from either a URL or a file in “.xml” format)
  • SAML Username values (from SIS integration)
  • Teacher Test Credentials

At this point, we are able to compile and create a metadata URL for you; for example:

https://app.masteryconnect.com/saml2/yourdistrict/metadata.xml

We will then ensure that your SAML Name values are getting sent and routed properly on our end (typically through Clever) by assessing your connection with test credentials. Once the connection has been tested and verified, it'll be up to your district to place the MasteryConnect icon or link on your dashboard to allow teachers single sign-on to their MasteryConnect account.
